涉县娲皇宫位于太行山东麓、河北省西南部、晋冀豫三省交界处的涉县索堡镇，是神话传说中女娲“抟土造人、炼石补天”的地方，是我国现存建筑规模最大、肇建时间较早的奉祀人类始祖女娲的历史文化遗存 ，被誉为“华夏祖庙”。
