日本房产开发巨头积水住宅1月18日宣布，同意以每股63美元的价格现金收购美国住宅建筑公司MDC Holdings，总价近49亿美元。
积水住宅CEO仲井嘉浩表示，这笔交易是公司在美国扩张战略的重大进展，将使积水住宅在美业务范围扩大到16个州。根据声明，按2022年交付量（每年约1.5万套）计算，此次收购将创建一个在美国排名第五的住宅建筑集团。
