当地时间1月8日，西班牙国家气象局在该国6个大区发布极寒天气黄色或橙色预警。西班牙国家气象局称，该国中部和东部多个省份最低气温可能降至零下6摄氏度。
气象局还表示，9日起，西班牙全国大部地区将出现强降雨或降雪天气，预计将至少持续至11日。（总台记者 魏帆）
