中国地震台网正式测定：1月08日03时48分，在甘肃酒泉市肃北县（北纬39.4度，东经97.3度）发生3.8级地震，震源深度12公里。
记者从震中附近的石包城乡及鱼儿红片区了解到，震中附近地广人稀，暂未接到人员伤亡及财产损失报告。
