一直以为江苏海岸线很长，但实际上江苏海岸线在沿海省份中排倒数第二，不足1000公里，长度仅高于河北。而相邻的浙江2000多公里，山东则3000多公里。海岸线不但短，而且含金量也很低，沿海城市中只有南通尚可。
