2011年，闫记熏鸡制作技艺被评为廊坊市级非物质文化遗产，熏鸡制作技艺在三河市传承已余百年。闫记熏鸡为保证熏鸡品质，在选鸡、使用食材、熏制技术等环节都很讲究，在制作过程中师承古法而不拘泥于古法，10道环节丝丝入扣，匠心独具。
