财联社9月20日电，“中国铁路”微信公众号消息，国内容积最大的50英尺集装箱今天正式投入使用，搭载50英尺集装箱的铁路多式联运快车分别从广州国际港站、上海闵行站、长沙北站、昆明王家营西站始发，将常态化投入铁路货物运输。50英尺集装箱由中国国家铁路集团有限公司自主研发，箱体总重36吨，载重30.85吨，容积达114.4立方米，比40英尺国际标准箱容积增加50%，是目前国内容积最大的集装箱。
