6月5日，江苏淮安清江浦区金城路街头，一名僧人装扮的男子当街搂抱一女子。画面中，两人坐在街边台阶上有说有笑，该女子将头靠在“和尚”肩膀上。
6月8日，淮安市民宗局宗教处回应称，该男子系假冒僧人，并非在职的宗教教职人员，也不是淮安本地人。当地警方已介入调查。
