彭博5月10日消息，软银公司CEO宫川润一10日在收益简报会上表示，软银公司在3月成立新实体，并选择近1000名员工参与开发“日本版ChatGPT”。宫川润一未详细说明该项目的目标或目前进展。
软银公司为软银集团的电信部门，由后者持股近40%，是仅次于雅虎日本和Line的日本第三大移动运营商。
