硅谷科技媒体5月4日报道称，由于开发聊天机器人应用程序ChatGPT，并从谷歌招聘了关键员工，OpenAI去年亏损额大约翻了一番，达到5.4亿美元左右（约合人民币37亿元）。
据报道，OpenAI在今年2月推出付费版ChatGPT后，公司收入有所增长，但随着使用其人工智能技术的客户增多，以及应用程序的持续开发，其训练成本可能会继续攀升。
OpenAI首席执行官阿尔特曼私下暗示，公司可能会在未来几年筹集约1000亿美元资金，用于进一步开发人工智能技术。
