1993年4月9日，浦江县茶叶市场建成开业。
浦江县茶叶市场，是当年浙江省最大的茶叶市场之一。位于和平南路与桐庐—浦江—义乌公路交叉地段，交通方便，占地面积6000多平方米，营业、办公用房532平方米，摊位400余个。下设市场办公室和茶叶经营部，经营名特、大宗茶。
浦江茶叶市场由浦江县特产公司筹建，总投资100余万元。1991年底破土动工，1992年10月竣工，1993年4月1日试营业，4月9日正式开业。
