有消息称，iPad Air 6将继续升级，搭载桌面级M2处理器。iPad Air 5上的M1采用8核CPU+8核GPU组合，和iPad Pro完全一致，即并没有砍成7核GPU的版本。
M2除了采用第二代5nm制程，还最高拥有10核GPU。M2比M1的CPU快了18%、GPU快了35%、神经网络单元快了40%，晶体管也多出25%。
