2月28日，即墨区公路事业发展中心发布通告，省道 214 南城线，将进行施工，提醒途经车辆绕行。
根据通告，施工路段起点为莱西即墨界(桩号K48+421)，终点与省道 S503 蓝鳌路交叉(桩号 K77+805)。该路段存在纵横缝、沉陷、坑槽等病害，影响行车安全性，存在安全隐患。
施工时间为，2023年3月2日至2023年9月30日，期间，将分段全封闭施工。
