泽伦斯基在英国议会发表演讲时，向下议院议长林赛·戈尔赠送了乌克兰战斗机飞行员的头盔。头盔上有英文铭文：“We have freedom, Give us wings to protect it.”
乌总统补充说，今天对他来说将是一个“非常特别的时刻”，他将于周三晚些时候会见查尔斯国王。乌总统说：“在英国，国王是空军飞行员，而在乌克兰，今天每个空军飞行员都是国王。”
在演讲结束时，泽连斯基表示，他提前感谢英国“强大的英国”飞机”
