为什么蛇和蜥蜴的舌头是分叉的？
爬行动物擅长用舌头在空气中“闻”气味。它们会时不时把舌头伸出来弹动，舌头接触到气味分子时，会将信号传到鼻子后方一个叫犁鼻器的器官处理。就像我们能靠左右两只耳朵听声辨位一样，舌头分叉能让爬行动物更精准地识别气味是来自左边还是右边，从而追踪猎物、识别同类、定位庇护所等等。
