当地时间12月6日，辉瑞与私营生物技术公司Clear Creek Bio宣布达成一项研究合作和独家许可协议，双方将共同开发木瓜蛋白酶(PLpro)抑制剂，以探索针对新冠病毒的新型口服抗病毒药物。PLpro是一种必需酶，它与主要蛋白酶（Mpro）一同在病毒复制中发挥重要作用。
