15日早晨，一艘能装载24000个标准集装箱的超大型船舶在南通中远海运川崎船舶工程有限公司建成下水。这是该公司继2018年成功完成国内最大2万标箱集装箱系列船之后的又一力作。
这艘24000标箱超大型集装箱船为南通中远海运川崎系列订单中的首制船，船长399.99米，型宽61.3米，甲板面积相当于3.5个标准足球场，为目前全球尺度最大、箱位最多的集装箱船之一。
