2016年4月2号的时候，Debian Project正式发布了Debian GNU/Linux 8.4（Jessie）和Debian GNU/Linux 7.10（Wheezy）维护更新。
Debian GNU/Linux 8.4 "Jessie"是广受好评的该系列操作系统的第4个稳定版，推荐所有运行Debian GNU/Linux 8.3 "Jessie"（或更早）的用户更新。
另一方面，Debian GNU/Linux 7.10 "Wheezy"仅面向那些运行旧有Debian分支操作系统的用户。
如果你在用Debian GNU/Linux 7.9或更早的版本，还请升级到最新的7.10，方法是运行一下命令：
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
