男单决赛当中，2号种子、印度帅哥拉克什亚-森苦战1小时21分钟，19-21、21-9、21-16逆转击败了5号种子、马来西亚球员黄智勇，拿下了本届英联邦运动会个人第二枚奖牌，此前他随印度队拿到了混合团体的银牌。第三名争夺战中，3号种子斯里坎特激战59分钟，21、15-21-18完胜7号种子郑加恒，获得铜牌。
