中国滑冰协会发布公告，拟授予北京冬奥会短道速滑冠军任子威国际级运动健将称号。根据《运动员技术等级管理办法》规定，该公告公示期为7月4日至7月12日。北京冬奥会上，中国短道速滑队收获2金1银1铜。其中，任子威一人参加五项比赛，被冰迷们亲切地称作“劳模”，他最终获得短道速滑混合团体2000米接力和男子1000米两枚金牌，实现了自己冬奥冠军梦。
