据国家体育总局训练局、中国排球协会消息，中国共产党党员，原国家女排主教练李耀先同志（国家级教练），因病医治无效，于2022年6月19日3时38分在北京东方医院逝世，享年87岁。
公开资料显示，李耀先曾是20世纪60年代中国男子排球队二传手，后任河北女排主教练，于1987年担任中国女排主教练，带队获1988年汉城奥运会铜牌。
