on IMBeR West Pacific Symposium

投稿截止日期延至2022年8月26日！

Submission Deadline Extended: 26 August2022

应广大作者要求，专辑投稿截止日期现延长至2022年8月26日（最后期限）。在首个截止日期（2022年5月26日）前，专辑已收到了22篇投稿。我们衷心感谢这些作者的踊跃参与和对本期专辑的贡献。专辑编辑团队现正积极推进审稿，以尽快将论文送至同行评审。

After receiving many messages from registered authors, we accepted the requests to extend our deadline for full paper submission to August 26th, 2022 (Final deadline). For those 22 submissions by the earlier deadline, we sincerely appreciate the authors for their engagements and contributions to this special issue. Our Editorial teams are now working very hard to progress papers through to peer review as quickly as possible.

IMBeR西太平洋会议专辑

‍“Deep-Sea Research Part II - Topical Studies in Oceanography”将分两卷出版“IMBeR West Pacific Symposium”专辑，现已开通投稿通道 (图1)。

The Deep-Sea Research II special issue, in a two-volume set, stemming from the IMBeR West Pacific Symposium are under development (Fig. 1).

·VSI: IMBeR West Pacific Symp1卷将收录以下会议议题稿件：海岸带蓝碳 (议题1)、珊瑚礁 (议题2)、小鱼干 (议题3)、海洋顶级掠食者 (议题7)。

·VSI: IMBeR West Pacific Symp1 volume collects manuscripts from topics on: Coastal Blue Carbon (Session 1), Coral Reefs (Session 2), Dried Small Fish (Session 3), and Oceanic Top Predators (Session 7)

·VSI:IMBeR West Pacific Symp2卷将收录以下会议议题稿件：近海生态系统与人类社会的相互作用 (议题4)、印度洋-太平洋地区的海洋生物地球化学与生物多样性 (议题5)、海洋极端事件 (议题6)、生态系统、生物地球化学和气候干预研究 (议题8)。

·VSI: IMBeR West Pacific Symp2 volume collects manuscripts from topics on: Ecosystem-Social Interactions in Coastal Sea (Session 4), Marine Biogeochemistry and Biodiversity in Indo-Pacific Region (Session 5), Marine Extreme Events (Session 6), and Ecosystem, Biogeochemistry and Interventions (Session 8)

All presenters at the symposium are kindly entitled to submit manuscripts for the special issue. Figure 1 The special issue, in a two-volume set, are under development. To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, please select VSI: IMBeR West Pacific Symp1 or VSI: IMBeR West Pacific Symp2 (see the difference here (https://imber.info/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/Special-Issue-guidelines-for-IMBeR-WPS-V2.pdf) when you reach the “Article Type” step in https://www.editorialmanager.com/dsr2/default1.aspx during the submission process.
