甘肃省天水市是中国历史文化名城，有2700多年的建城史，这里气候温暖湿润，市区内古树名木繁多。据最新统计，全市古树名木2900余株，千年树龄的古树超过100株，遍布大街小巷的古树成为记录城市发展变迁的“活化石”。
