4月19日，家中阳台种植的心叶日中花开了。叶子碧绿清透，花朵如同红色的绒毛镶嵌在绿叶中间，犹如一个小小的红太阳。
心叶日中花也叫牡丹吊兰，叶茎长长以后，会垂吊起来，绿叶间开满红色的小绒花。虽然花小，但色艳无比。
