PlayStation Productions 和索尼影业今日宣布，《对马之魂》游戏改编电影将由 Takashi Doscher 担任编剧。他曾经执导了科幻爱情片《Only》、惊悚片《Still》以及 ESPN 纪录片《A Fighting Chance》。
PlayStation Productions 由索尼互动娱乐公司于 2019 年成立，与索尼影业合作，将其原创游戏 IP 改编为电影和电视剧。
《对马之魂》改编电影是该工作室继《神秘海域》之后制作的第二部电影，目前该片正处于早期开发阶段，由《疾速追杀》导演 Chad Stahelski 执导。同时该工作室还在制作《最后的生还者》、《烈火战车》电视剧以及一些其他的项目。
