《绝地求生》转为免费后，Steam在线人数翻了一倍，当前在线玩家66万，位居Steam十大热门游戏第二名，距离第一名《CS：GO》（78.3万）不是太多。
根据SteamChart统计，在免费之前，《绝地求生》每日峰值大概在30万左右，而现在已经超过了66万，是2020年4月以来同时在线玩家最高的一次。
与此同时，由于游戏转为免费，《绝地求生》今日在Steam上迎来了“差评轰炸”，有2641条差评，是平时差评数量（200左右）的13倍。
