朝珠由佛念珠衍化而来，是清代官服特有的配饰。按清制，只有文职五品、武职四品以上的官员，上朝时才能配挂朝珠。按满清贵族礼制，此挂朝珠为天然老翡翠，满工雕刻如意纹，翠色欲滴；截珠、佛头、水滴、记子均为天然红宝石，搭配原装老朝珠布盒，尺寸：1.2cm，重334.5g
