11月24日，第一批“拓展工程”确定的临洮收费站改扩建项目开工建设。该项目将现有的2入3出5条车道扩建为5入8出13条车道。收费站建成运营后，将有效缓解收费站拥堵情况，提高通行能力和服务水平，更好地服务区域经济社会发展。
