11月12日，北海出入境边检站执法民警在北海港码头港区巡逻时，发现一艘渔船侧翻漂浮在北海港码头航道中央。
经过研判，民警使用牵引绳将渔船成功拖拽至岸边，并协调码头货运公司利用大型起重机将船舶扶正。
经了解，渔船驾驶人员由于疏忽大意，遭遇大风天气未能及时稳住渔船，导致渔船侧翻，差点酿成悲剧。
