集微网消息，据台媒《经济日报》11月4日报道，威盛电子于当日晚9点在证交所召开重大讯息记者会，由威盛副总经理陈宝莲宣布了威盛持股100%子公司Centaur Technology与英特尔的重大交易。
威盛表示，英特尔将延揽Centaur部分员工，威盛并配合出具相关承诺，而英特尔将给付Centaur 1亿2500万美元（约新台币35亿元）。（校对/LL）
