11月2日15时左右，黄州区黄堵沿江公路附近一私人售卖柴油店发生火灾，3人受伤并被迅速送往当地医院救治。
15时许，大火腾空而起，浓烟滚滚，很远就能看到。据悉，因该地方平日较为偏僻，为私人偷偷设的加油站，平常这些经营者都是开着自己的车送油上门，包含土法炼制的汽油，柴油等。
事故发生后，黄冈市消防部门迅速派车扑灭大火。
