智通财经APP获悉，9月16日(周四)，游戏驿站(GME.US)股价走高，截至北京时间23：15，该股涨超5%，报214.56美元。8月份，消费者在电子游戏硬件、内容和配件等方面的支出创下历史新高。
市场调研公司NPDGroup数据显示，8月份消费者在游戏上支出同比增长7%，达到44亿美元。今年以来，游戏消费总支出同上年相比，增加了13%，达到379亿美元。
