9月3-5日，2021中国汽车产业发展（泰达）国际论坛在天津滨海新区举行，在4日的开幕大会上，工业和信息化部副部长辛国斌发表题为“抢抓机遇，努力开创汽车产业发展新局面”的讲话：
其表示，新能源汽车方面，工信部将会同有关部门，持续开展新能源汽车下乡活动，启动换电模式应用试点，优化调整双积分政策，启动氢燃料电池汽车示范应用，推动汽车公共领域车辆电动化水平。
