当地时间12日，世卫组织举行新冠肺炎例行发布会，世卫组织首席科学家苏米娅·斯瓦米纳坦表示，世卫组织很高兴得知两款中国疫苗进入“新冠肺炎疫苗实施计划”疫苗库，而且从7月起就可以提供疫苗，现在非常需要这些疫苗，很多国家都在等待疫苗。
苏米娅·斯瓦米纳坦指出，科兴新冠疫苗的临床试验数据体现了非常高的有效性。
