近年来，福安大力推广葡萄种植，如今葡萄面积达7万多亩，产量1.5亿多斤，产量和面积占福建省的60%以上，是我国东南沿海面积最大、规模连片、生产规范的县(市)级葡萄生产基地，被誉为“南国葡萄之乡”。
