2021年5月15日12时许，建设路中心派出所接群众报警称：停放在八七路与文化路交叉口新华书店门口的一辆电动车被盗。值班民警白明珠立即受理案件，展开调查，通过调取监控发现一男子形迹可疑，具有作案嫌疑。在即将进入下一步工作时，该男子到建设路中心派出所投案自首，如实供述了自己的违法行为。
根据《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》，对该男子以盗窃处以行政拘留的处罚，现已执行。
