近日，河北一名货车司机因北斗导航仪掉线，被罚2000元后服毒自杀一事引发关注。4月8日，多名唐山本地货车司机告诉记者，无法通过导航仪屏幕观察是否掉线。深圳一北斗导航仪销售厂家回应北斗导航仪掉线表示，设备、信号不稳定都有可能导致导航仪掉线，司机无法查看，厂家通过电脑才可以看到。
