4月2日，在国务院新闻办举行的“十四五”时期粮食和物资储备发展情况发布会上，国家粮食和物资储备局粮食储备司司长、新闻发言人秦玉云表示，2021年国际粮价出现上涨，是受多重因素叠加影响，新冠疫情在全球蔓延、东南亚旱灾、沙漠蝗虫等危机对粮食价格产生了一定影响。但是，从粮食供求角度分析，国际粮食供求在延续宽松格局，价格最终会受供求影响。
