据彭博社报道索尼与腾讯，SE等厂商投资云游戏服务商Ubitus,该厂商曾为NS《生化危机》《刺客信条》等游戏提供云游戏服务。
不过在谷歌Stadia并不成功的情况下，云游戏目前还并不能对传统游戏售卖和游玩方式产生威胁，不过索尼等厂商仍愿意积极在该领域继续探索。
