2021年1月14日，连云港市赣榆区新冠肺炎疫情防控工作领导小组办公室发布关于密切接触者行程轨迹的公告，其中一例新冠肺炎确诊病例密切接触者陈某某2020年12月31日晚22时23分，乘坐从秦皇岛市到徐州市的Z174次列车，于2021年1月1日上午7时到达徐州站，期间未出站，全程佩戴口罩。
