12月22日，北京故宫博物院完成延禧宫灵沼轩为期一个月研究性保护工作，恢复开放。延禧宫是东六宫之一，明清两朝均为嫔妃所居，道光二十五年(1845年)起火，仅剩下宫门。宣统元年(1909年)开始在原址修建一座3层西洋式建筑——灵沼轩，但由于国库空虚，最终成为一栋延续百年的“烂尾楼”。
