据日本共同社消息，丰田汽车公司围绕主力高端品牌“皇冠”正在探讨结束既有轿车型的生产与销售。第一代“皇冠”发售于1955年，目前已是第15代。而近年来销量不及以往，因此丰田可能认为有必要采取措，“皇冠”约70年的历史很可能将落下帷幕。
