近年来，山东省淄博市高青县常家镇持续加大生态治理保护力度，荇菜生长面积逐年扩大。每到夏日，湖塘沟渠大片荇菜花开，嫩黄层叠，延绵不绝。花间，蜗牛爬行，鱼翔浅底，水鸟嬉戏，蜻蜓点水，呈现一派生态画卷。（张维堂）
