6月25日，暴雨过后，江西萍乡山口岩水库开闸泄洪，鱼群随着洪水被冲出，不少鱼被甩晕，附近居民纷纷赶来围观、下水捡鱼，场面壮观。有居民将两条半人高的大鱼吊起，用棍子担在肩上扛回家。据当地居民称，很多大鱼的重量可达到七八十斤。
