从山东省人民政府官网获悉，国务院近日批复同意对烟台市部分行政区划进行调整。撤销蓬莱市、长岛县，设立烟台市蓬莱区，以原蓬莱市、长岛县的行政区域为蓬莱区的行政区域，蓬莱区人民政府驻登州街道钟楼东路1号（原蓬莱市政府驻地）。
