“今天再回老院子，简单变化太大了”，曾经住在广兴里几十年的老居民吴大妈激动地说。5月28日，青岛市历史城区保护更新试点项目开园仪式在广兴里举行。广兴里，这个有着百年以上历史的青岛最大里院，经过改造修缮招商，成为青岛工业设计创新中心，面貌一新。
