近日，暴雪中国发布一则公告称，由网易研发运营，暴雪官方授权的魔兽争霸官方对战平台，是中国国内唯一正式授权的魔兽对战平台。暴雪从未对其他平台提供任何授权、许可或技术支持。
2015年10月23日，网易宣布由暴雪官方唯一授权的“魔兽争霸官方对战平台”正式上线测试，截止今日已运营三年之久，在对战平台官网，拥有“暴雪官方唯一认证平台”的标志。
