5月3日，汉中市首个身份证自助拍照设备在勉县天荡路派出所投入使用。群众可在一个完全自主的环境下，自助拍摄、选择自己最为满意的身份证照片，且操作方法简单，等待时间短暂，极大的提高了办证效率。前来办证的群众在试用后，都对这项便民措施交口称赞。
