16日下午，市民向本报报料，在现代城红绿灯莲花湖边旁，漂浮着一具尸体。
接到爆料后，记者第一时间赶至现场看到，湖边一具尸体趴着浮在湖边上，周围有不少市民围观讨论，城东新区派出所民警也在现场维持秩序。
据现场民警介绍，当天下午，一市民在湖边散步发现尸体漂浮着，随后立即报警。接警后，警方第一时间赶至现场。目前，公安机关已介入调查。（今日阳新）
