有媒体报道称，腾讯微信开始使其内容可在谷歌、必应等国外搜索引擎上搜索。
腾讯方面回应《科创板日报》记者称：因近期平台技术升级，公众号robots协议出现漏洞，致使外部爬虫技术可爬取部分微信公众号内容。目前漏洞已修复。
